ZOMACTON 10 mg/ZOMACTON adult indication
ZOMACTON is Ferring’s recombinant human growth hormone (hGH) product, which has been developed for growth failure in children, and is also approved for girls with Turner’s syndrome.
Ferring is currently developing a 10 mg-strength product. This new formulation will have an advantage over the current 4 mg product in terms of low injection volume and easier handling for the patients.
The indication for the 10 mg product will be the same as the current indications. The adult indication is defined as the substitution treatment of adults with severe growth hormone deficiency or known hypothalamic disease or known deficiency of the hypothalamic region.
ZOMACTON is delivered through the unique no-needle delivery system ZOMAJET 2 VISION, which is convenient to use with its plastic disposable front ends and is one of the key attributes for ZOMACTON.
