Production Sites - Czech Republic
Ferring was one of the first Western European companies to establish relations with Czech research institutes. The company's site in the Czech Republic is the newest of its production facilities.
In 1993 Ferring BV entered into a joint-venture with Léciva a.s., the largest pharmaceutical company in the Czech Republic at that time. Since 1999 Ferring Léciva has been fully owned by Ferring BV and the relationship with Léciva a.s. continues only on the basis of contract manufacturing.
Ferring Léciva consists of a small production suite for non-sterile liquids, a packaging area, quality-control laboratories and warehouses.
