As well as having three R&D sites of its own in Copenhagen (Denmark), San Diego (USA) and BTG in Be’er Tuvia, (Israel), Ferring also actively collaborates with various research institutes and other pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies across the globe. Ferring’s International PharmaScience Center in Copenhagen is responsible for coordinating all development activities.

Ferring Research Ltd (FRL) is founded in Southampton, UK to specialise on drug discovery focusing on small molecule therapeutics. |

The Ferring Research Institute (FRI) is founded in San Diego, USA to undertake drug discovery focusing on peptide therapeutics. Ferring’s peptide research is transferred from Sweden to the USA. |

1999 |
Ferring’s International PharmaScience Centre (IPC) is established in Copenhagen, Denmark to coordinate all stages of product development. |

2002 |
The IPC moves into new state of the art development facilities in Copenhagen. |

2005 |
Ferring buys Bio-Technology General of Israel, which includes recombinant biotech manufacturing facilities in Beer Tuvia, Israel. |

Ferring opens brand new purpose built global headquarters in St Prex, Switzerland. |
